When kept closed and properly stored the small round fingerprint pad yields 1000 prints and the small rectangular fingerprint pad yields 1200 fingerprints. The 2 ½ inch fingerprint pad takes around 2400 fingerprints and the large 3X5 fingerprint pads yields 10,000-12,000 fingerprints.
